My background
I’m James Mickle—also known as Santa Jim! As an authentic, real-bearded, second-generation portrayal artist, I’ve been bringing holiday magic to life since 2004. My journey in guiding and inspiring young minds began long before stepping into the red suit, from coaching youth wrestling and serving as a USA Wrestling official to leading Boy Scout adventures and sharing stories around the campfire. Over the past two decades, my calling as a year-round entertainer has also grown to include beloved characters like the Easter Bunny and Papa Smurf. I am a proud graduate of the Northern Lights Santa Academy, an active member of the Worldwide Santa Claus Network, fully insured, and annually background-checked. From community partnerships with the Miami Rescue Mission and the Arthritis Foundation to appearances at Westland Mall, corporate galas, and private home visits, entertaining isn't just a business—it's a lifelong passion!
My Inspiration
My path into this cherished tradition was sparked in 2004 when I learned that my father was working as an entertainment Santa in Canada. I decided to surprise him with a visit, and watching my dad in action—witnessing the immense joy given and shared with families—was a defining turning point in my life. Seeing the magic he created inspired me to step into his footsteps as a second-generation Santa. Carrying on this tradition with my own family keeps me grounded in my roots, adding a deep sense of pride, love, and heritage to every story shared and every smile created.
My Mission
My core belief is that every single child deserves to feel uniquely special, cherished, and celebrated. I am dedicated to bringing genuine joy and wonder to children of all ages, regardless of race, religion, or heritage. Seeing the sheer delight light up a child's eyes when Santa enters the room is the true North Star guiding my journey. My mission is to preserve that enchantment, foster kindness, and ensure every moment leaves a lasting spark of happiness that brightens spirits all year long. I strive to make every encounter unique and memorable for your family to cherish for years to come!
